Cornus is situated in southern Aveyron on the edge of the Causse du Larzac, an hour from Montpellier and 20 minutes from the Millau Viaduct.

The hotel has a XVth century stone stairwell which leads to comfortable and modernised rooms with views onto the Rocher des Fourches. The ensuite rooms are quiet and fully equipped, including hairdryer, electric heating, telephone, colour television and free WIFI access.

Restaurant

We have a bar, which offers a friendly environment to enjoy a drink alone or amongst friends during the day or after an evening meal.


The restaurant offers different menus using local products :
cold meats, Roquefort cheese, confit de poule, magret de canard and seasonal mushrooms.


On reservation you can also enjoy other specialities :
beef with foie gras and truffles, homemade paté or pheasant

with cepes mushrooms…

History

In 1922 Emilie FABREGUETTES buys two adjoining houses and transforms them into a restaurant. In 1939 she opens a hotel in the same building. Three generations later the same family welcomes you to their establishment, completely renovated in 1992 and redecorated in 2006 and 2009.

Cornus is located in the heart of the Knights Templar country, famous for its cultural and historical patrimony, the area is increasingly attracting visitors from around the world. Museums, churches, Templar villages, concerts, international festivals at the Abbaye de Sylvanès...
